Quaker Writers and
Quaker Inspired Writings
It is our hope here to provide a rather general collection of Quaker writings both old and contemporary, in hopes that it will shed some light on Quaker ideology and how those ideas have evolved over time.
Quaker writers have addressed many issues, both social and spiritual, over the years through several mediums: there are many books published which outline Quaker historiography as well as the structure of belief; there are numerous journals published by Yearly Meetings throughout the world; and there are collections of speeches and public addresses compiled from Quaker activists since the denomination's inception.
Though we will not be publishing any of the works here in their entirety, instead we offer excerpts meant to provoke thought and interest.
